he did a lot of work for magazine covers (the Saturday Evening Post, Collier's Weekly, etc.), advertisments for clothings brands like Arrow Shirt & Kuppenheimer Clothes, and some war propaganda stuff, and it was all soooo gorgeous.
i have three prints of his work, his art is set as my phone lockscreen, i have a book about him and collectible cards of his magazine covers.... waugh there is a corner of my head which is constantly thinking about his crazy beautiful art. also! he was queer!!! and lived in illinois, oh em gee me tooooo
